Lake Land College Ag Transfer Club donates to local charities

Students in Lake Land College’s Agriculture Transfer Club raised $800 to donate to local charities. Through member dues and t-shirt sales, club members donated $400 to Coles County Habitat for Humanity and $400 to the Mattoon Community Food Center.
The club officers for the 2013-2014 school year were: Kolten Postin, president, Moweaqua; Connor Biehler, vice president, Shelbyville; April Gibson, secretary, Columbia City, Ind.; and Shelby Peterson, treasurer, Bowen.
Through the Agriculture Transfer Club, ag transfer students are provided with an opportunity to learn about four-year college transfer programs and job opportunities available.
