Lake Land College cheerleaders host cheer camps

The Lake Land College Cheerleaders are hosting three upcoming cheerleading camps on Saturday, Feb. 2 from noon to 4 p.m.

Camp One is open to children ages four to 10. These children will perform at half time during the 7 p.m. Lake Land College Basketball game on Feb. 2. Camp Two is open to middle school students who want to gain the skills needed to try out for their junior high or All-Star team. Camp Three is open to middle school and/or junior high teams that are already established, but want to learn new skills.

The cost for Camps One and Two is $25 per camper; $10 for the next child in the same family and $5 for additional children in the same family. For Camp Three, the cost is $20 per cheerleader and the coach must accompany the team. There is no cost for the coach to attend.

All participants in the Laker Cheerleading Camps will receive a t-shirt and snacks. Parents are encouraged to send a water bottle with their camper or $1.50 to purchase a beverage.
