Lake Land College hosts 8th annual Livestock Judging Team Golf Outing
Join Lake Land College’s Agriculture Division for the 8th annual Livestock Judging Team Golf Outing! The event will be held on Friday, July 19 at Fox Prairie Links, formerly Angus Links Golf Course in Windsor, and all proceeds will support the Lake Land College Livestock Judging Team’s travel to national competitions during the upcoming school year.
“Last year’s event was a huge success and we are looking forward to another great afternoon of golf, friendship and fun,” said Ryan Orrick, agriculture instructor and Livestock Judging Team coach.
Interested parties may participate in a four-person scramble, designating their own team, or be placed on another team of four. The cost per person is $70, which includes a golf cart, two mulligans, and dinner. Advanced registration is preferred by July 15, but registration the day of the event begins at 11:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.
Featured attractions for the scramble include hole in one prizes, a putting contest with prizes, a longest drive contest, and closest to the pin hole contest. Prizes will be awarded to the champion team of each flight.
The Lake Land College Livestock Judging Team is a nationally ranked team that brings home regional and national titles annually.
