Exploring Art

Boys and girls spend each morning this week exploring art, cooking and science. Mrs. Anderson, an Illinois certified teacher, designed this for you. You will have the opportunity to use your creative nature with other budding artists. Try your hand at watercolor, card making, floral design, jewelry design and more. You will also be a chef and create delicious treats without cooking. Recipes include fruit spears, ham roll-ups, bug cookies and other surprises. Have a hands-on adventure involving rocks and minerals, volcanoes, birds and building a bird feeder plus more. Artists will join together to create art pieces made with yarn, beading, painting and multi media. We will especially explore nature as objects of artistic interpretation. Art as therapy will be enhanced as we share daily snacks. Together we will even design useful photo cards.
