Minecraft Designers

If you love the game Minecraft, but always wanted to design your own characters and buildings for your games, this class is for you. Learn the basics of creating 3D modeling using a new industry grade software to design your very own characters and import them into your favorite Minecraft games. Students must have Minecraft at home to import characters and parent email address is required to create student accounts. ** The Minecraft Designer curriculum is compatible with any desktop (and laptop) version of Minecraft software that is for a PC or Mac computer. Recently, Minecraft has come out with a version of their software for the Xbox 360 and mobile tablets/phones. These versions of Minecraft are not compatible with the desktop software we will use in the class. Since at the present time, the mobile and desktop files are not compatible, students must purchase the P.C. Mac version for the software before they can continue to edit/play their maps from home.
