|Join Janette Delinger, RDH, MSDH, for this presentation on "Just Because They Need It Doesn't Mean They'll Want It...Strategies for Long Term Oral Health and Patient Motivation." Patient adherence dramatically impacts the prevention of dental diseases, as well as the long-term success of therapeutic, restorative and cosmetic procedures. You'll be introduced to a communication method know as Motivational Interviewing (MI), which has been show to elicit "change-talk: directly from your patients. This interactive course allows the attendee to match reality with the science, psychology and solutions of patient and practice success. New products will be introduced such as diagnostic tools, remineralization therapies and interdental cleaning. Join Donald E. Janoff, BDS, DDS, PhD (ABD), MBA, from the Center for Periodontics, Dental Implants, and Dentoalveolar Surgery, for this seminar. Dr. Janoff will review contemporary general dentistry and dental specialties, enumerate the role of hygienist and be inspired to ong term success through various techniques, algorithms of treatment planning, and a review of complex periodontal patients and their road to successful rehabilitation.
