Provide the students with information and/or practical skills pertaining to the functions required in the manner in which they perform their jobs in the Emergency Medical Services profession. (Repeatable 3 Times)

EMT-Basic Refresher Course
EMT 010

Provides the current EMT-Basic with a review of knowledge and skills needed to function within the EMS system, including operations, patient assessment, and emergency medical care. Students successfully completing this course will receive EMT-Basic refresher credit towards license renewal. (Repeatable 3 Times)


Prerequisites: EMT-B license

EMT 011

Provides core-level trauma knowledge and psychomotor skills associated with the delivery of professional nursing care to the trauma patient. Students successfully completing the course will receive provider recognition from the Emergency Nurses Association. (Repeatable 3 Times)


Prerequisites: RN licensure
