TRiO Programs are Federal outreach and student services programs provided through the US Department of Education, designed to identify and provide services for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. TRiO includes eight programs targeted to serve and assist low-income individuals, first-generation college students, and individuals with disabilities to progress through the academic pipeline from middle school to post-baccalaureate programs. Lake Land College provides two TRiO Programs to the students within the college district.

Eligible students are those seeking an associate degree and are either a first generation college student, a Pell grant recipient or registered with a disability at LLC. If you’re not sure if you’re eligible, please contact TRiO Student Support Services! We’ll help you decide if you should apply to the program!
