Cooperative Work Study Program
CWSP is a program that offers students an opportunity to gain work experience while determining if that field is right for them. Not to be confused with the Financial Aid Federal Work Study Program, CWSP allows students to gain valuable hands-on work experience related to their academic major. Students in CWSP will experience resume writing, interview opportunities, Lake Land College course credit, and a paid internship experience at an employer they select to build their resume further. Employers as well can benefit from CWSP by receiving up to 50% reimbursement of an intern’s pay in addition to hosting an eager student who is willing to work and learn.
