Laker's add new players at Mid-term

With several roster spots available, the Lake Land baseball team added several key components to what should be another record setting season.

Adding 5 pitchers was a priority and the Lakers added some good ones.  Dariel Delgado was the gem of the class.  Dariel was drafted in the 29th round this spring by the Cincinnati Reds.  Dariel is hard throwing RHP that should bring attention to the program this year.  Andy Oliva is a LHP from Miami that is also a hard thrower and solid pitcher.  Larry Molina also from Miami should solidify the bullpen and possibly be an anchor on the back-end.  Larry is a 6'3" 225 lb RHP that has a lot of upside.  The fourth pitcher is Andy Parra from Venezuela and is a hard throwing right hander that spend 5 weeks in the Marlins organization in 2010.  The final arm added was Brandon Wind a transfer from Indiana University.  Brandon is from Indianapolis and was on of the top 50 players in Indiana last season. 

The lone position player added was Alex Infante from Venezuela.  Alexs is the first cousin to Omar Infante of the Miami Marlins.  Alex is a solid infielder that can play any of the positions.

These additions should solidify a already solid roster that looks to be one of the top in the GRAC conference.
