Changing views in PowerPoint

PowerPoint allows you five different ways to view your slides. To change the view of the slides, go to View menu or use the icons at the bottom of the screen in left pane. The Slide Show View option can also be accessed by pressing F5.

View menu

Normal View - Use this view to edit the displayed slide in the main window. When viewing Nomal View, a pane to the left displays with mininature views of each slide in the presentation. Use the Tabs at the top to change the view from Tabs to Outline for the left pane.

Slide Sorter View - This view will display all slides as thumbnails. Use this view to change the order slides, add transitions, and set timings for electronic slide shows.

Notes Pages View - Use this view to create speaker's notes for each slide.

Slide Show - Use this view to display your presentation as an on-screen electronic slide show.
