Firefox - Cookies

Cookies are text files downloaded to a visitor's computer hard drive to store visitor's actions in order to better customized their following visits to the same website. Cookies must be enabled to use Blackboard. Below are the steps to complete this task in Firefox.

Steps for Firefox 3.04 (on campus)

  1. Go to Tools > Options.
  2. Select the Privacy Tab.
  3. Select the Cookies Tab.
  4. Make sure the checkbox next to Allow sites to set Cookies is checked.
  5. Enable Cookies in Firefox

Steps for Firefox 3.6.12 (current version)

  1. Go to Tools > Options.
  2. Select the Privacy Tab.
  3. Select the remove individual cookies. Additionally the recent history can also be cleared here as well.

  5. In the Cookies Dialog box click Remove All Cookies and click Close. Click OK on Options dialog box to close.
