Firefox - Cache/Temp Internet Files
When Firefox downloads a website a copy of the site is stored in what is called the cache. Only a certain amount of space is allotted for this task. Once the cache is full, download time will increase making the browser sluggish. The cache can be emptied in Firefox by completed the following steps.
Steps for Firefox 3.04 (on campus)
- Go to Tools > Options.
- Select the Privacy Tab.
- Click the Cache tab and then click the Clear Cache Now button.
- Click OK.

Steps for Firefox 3.6.12 (current version)
- Go to Tools > Options.
- Select the Advanced Tab.
- Under Offline Storage click the Clear Now button.
- Click OK.
