Content Manager
What is the Content Manager?
When you login into Blackboard the Content Manager tab will display next to the MyLLC Online Courses tab.

Students will have a personal storage space called “My Files” in the Content Manager to create, upload and store files. This space is limited to 20 MB of space. In the upper right hand corner of the My Files screen a space usage meter will appear letting you know when you have reached the limit of space.

Some courses may also have an area where you can store upload and store files. If this is enable in your course there will be a link to the File Manager under My Tools on left navigation bar.
Uploading and Choosing Files
Once in the content manager, you will see a screen similar to the one below. Files can be created or selected by using the buttons above the content area. To upload files click Get Files.

Creating Files
- In the Content Manager you can create files by clicking the Create File button.
- The Create File screen will appear. Give the file a name and type some content.
- To format the content of the message click HTML Creator. This will load a small java program will load with a Word like environment that allows you to format the message without know HTML.
- Click Save when done.

HTML Creator
The HTML Creator can be use to create new web pages or format messages and assignments. When the HTML Creator button is clicked a small Java program will load. Once loaded, messages can be formatted. If the Java program does not load, you may need to complete a browser check or go to the WebCT Tune-up page, http://www.webct.com/tuneup .
