Learning Modules (Formly Course Content)
The Learning Module is where course materials such as lectures notes, videos, and other documents may be located. Learning Modules may have a table of contents and can be divided into sections that expand and collapse. The learning module can be accessed by clicking the learning module icon on the course homepage or by clicking on the Learning Module link on the course tools menu.
Navigating a Learning Module
Once a learning module displays on the screen, the course tools menu will collapse and learning module menu will display. The frame between table of contents and a page in learning module can be dragged to display more or less of the menu or the page. You can also use the horizontal scroll bars to see all of the content if needed. Each section of the learning module will have a plus sign next to it. Click the plus sign to open the section. Click the minus sign to close a section.
The learning module pages can be navigated by using the breadcrumb navigation or arrow buttons. Links to other sections of the course and printing options will also display learning module navigation.
Steps to Print Pages in Learning Modules
- Click the print icon at the top of the learning module.
- The Select Items screen will display. Place a checkmark in each box next to the pages you wish to print. Click the very top box next to Selected Items to select all pages in the learning module. Click Continue.
- The page will refresh with all of the selected content. Click Print to print the pages or Save to File to save the learning module content to your local drive. If you select Save to File, a zip file will be created with of all the learning module pages. Double click the zip file to uncompress and extract the files.
