Lake Land College hosts Big Al’s 13th Annual Car Show May 1st

    Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines and drive on over to Big Al’s 13th Annual Car Show. The Lake Land College Automotive Club will host the show, Saturday, May 1 on the college's campus in Mattoon.  Registration will be from 9 a.m. til noon, with the winners to be announced at approximately 3 p.m. There is a registration fee of $15.

            Come celebrate the Lake Land College Community Choir’s tenth anniversary. The community is invited to attend this annual spring concert, Sunday, March 21 at 3 p.m. in the Lake Land College Theatre.

Lake Land hosts College for All Ages on April 18, offers new adult students one free class

    Looking for educational family fun?  Look no further.  Lake Land College will host the second annual College for All Ages in conjunction with The Festival of the Young Child at the Cross County Mall in Mattoon Saturday April, 17 from 10a.m. to 2p.m.

WYSE Competition held at Lake Land College

Mattoon, Charleston, Teutopolis and St. Anthony High Schools were victorious in their divisions at the Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering (WYSE) Academic Challenge held at Lake Land College in February. The event drew more than 300 students representing 22 high schools.

Weld your way into a new skill starting now!

Welding is a diverse and practical skill. It has many applications and can be used across a wide variety of careers or for personal use to work on vehicles or projects around the home. Many farmers use welding for small engine repair or fabrication for vehicles. Now you can learn to weld with the help of Lake Land College's Mod II sessions. Mod II courses are offered in the second eight-week session of spring semester. WEL 057-5133 begins on Saturday, March 13 on campus in the Vo Tech building, room 107.
