Lake Land College Foundation organized. (September 23, 1970): After receiving earlier in the month a certificate of incorporation from Illinois?s Secretary of State, 40 people from across the district met to elect officers and establish a working constitution. Mrs. James Honnold was elected the Foundation?s first president; other cabinet appointments included LLC staff, including Tim Helton, Dean of Business Affairs, and Dr.Webb.
