Lake Land College offers coronal polishing training for dental professionals

The Lake Land College Office of Community and Professional Programs will offer a course entitled Coronal Polishing (CNC-020-35637) on Friday, Sept. 5, 2014 from 1 - 9:00 p.m. in the Northwest Building Dental Clinic on the Lake Land College campus in Mattoon.  

The class will be taught by Deborah Thomason, registered dental hygienist and Margaret Merry-Niebrugge, doctor of dental medicine.  This hands-on training seminar is designed for dental assistants and has been approved by the Illinois Community College Board.  Persons who complete the required assignments will receive six contact hours/one-half college credits.  To enroll in this seminar, dental assistants must be at least 18 years of age and have 1000 hours experience verified by their employer.  The cost of the class is $230 and includes classroom time, lab time and dinner.
