May 28, 2014

The Lake Land College student body recently selected Christopher Walk, Neoga, as its 2014-2015 student trustee. The student trustee serves on the Lake Land College Board of Trustees, representing the student body in policy and decision making.

“I’m going to be working very closely with the Student Government Association to make sure I know what the student issues are so that I can relay that information to the Board of Trustees,” said Walk.

Walk, who is an agriculture transfer student, said that as student trustee, he hopes to concentrate on building more internship opportunities for Lake Land students, with a focus on transitioning students into the workforce.
