Spark your future with Lake Land College’s free welding program

This fall, Lake Land College is offering a free eight-week program, the Fundamentals of Applied Technology. In just two months, get the skills you need to enter a career!

During the program, students will participate in the following: Welding Fundamentals, a college-level welding class; OSHA Safety Training; forklift training; career skills preparation; GED completion for those who have not earned a high school diploma; college preparation; certificates of completion; and one-on-one counseling to help students reach their goals. 

There are no admissions requirements and the program is free to qualifying students, which includes transportation assistance. 

All classes and activities for the Fundamentals of Applied Technology will be held at the Eastern Region Center at the Forsythe Center in Marshall, 224 S. 6th Street.
