Lake Land College’s Adult Ed offers free computer classes

Lake Land College’s Adult Education Center will offer two free computer classes beginning Monday, Aug. 19.  The classes will take place at the Adult Education Center, 1617 Lakeland Blvd., Mattoon. 

Basic Computer Concepts is a course for new computer users who would like to learn to operate a Windows-based personal computer. This introductory course will meet on Wednesdays from 3 – 5 p.m. 

Basic Microsoft Office will introduce computer users to the Microsoft Office software suite with an emphasis on Microsoft Word.  This class will meet on Fridays from 3 - 5 p.m. 

The classes will meet for 6 weeks and space is limited to 10 students per class.  

Interested individuals should call the Adult Education Center at (217) 235-0361 to register for classes.
