Lake Land College plans Civil War presentation for sesquicentennial in Effingham
Did you know we’re in the midst of the 150th anniversary of the American Civil War? From 1861 to 1865, the conflict between north and south caused more American deaths than did all of the 20th Century wars combined. Commemorate this extraordinary event in American history with Lake Land College.
On Wednesday, April 24 join Lake Land instructors Matt Greider and Mike Rudibaugh for “Scoping The North and South - Evaluating Pre-Civil War Assets for Union & Confederate War Making,” a presentation regarding data on district residents and resources during the war. This event will be held at 6:30 p.m., in room 104 at the Kluthe Center for Higher Education and Technology, 1204 Network Centre Blvd. Effingham.
This event is free and open to the public.
