Lake Land College students participate in Polar Plunge

Students from Lake Land College participated in the 2013 Polar Plunge held recently at Lake Sara near Effingham.  The students raised money to participate in the activity and the proceeds of the event benefited Special Olympics of Illinois.

 

The students were members of the Lake Land College Student Government Association and also the LLC Student Activity Board.  Twelve students and their advisor, Valerie Lynch participated and raised a total of $1, 075.
