Lake Land College announces foundation scholarship deadline

The application deadline for students who plan to apply for 2013-2014 Lake Land College Foundation scholarships is 5 p.m., Friday, March 1.  Students graduating from high school and adults of any age who are enrolling at Lake Land College are encouraged to apply.  Those students who received a Lake Land College Foundation Scholarship for the 2012-2013 school year and wish to be considered for a 2013-2014 award must reapply.

Scholarship applications are available at the Lake Land College Foundation office or area high school counseling offices. Scholarship applications are also available on the Lake Land College website at www.lakelandcollege.edu/foundation.

To be considered for scholarship awards, completed applications must be received by the Lake Land College Foundation office no later than the listed deadline, March 1.  Applicants will be considered for all foundation scholarships for which they qualify. Applications received after the deadline will be considered as scholarships become available, funding permits and individual needs are determined.

The Foundation has awarded 378 scholarships totaling more than $321,000 for the 2012-2013 school year to students attending Lake Land College. Since 1992, the Foundation has awarded more than 4.5 million dollars to deserving students attending Lake Land College.
