Lake Land College offers new opportunity for licensed practical nurses to become registered nurses at the Kluthe Center in Effingham

Lake Land College is opening a new cohort program for current licensed practical nurses to earn an associate degree in nursing at the Kluthe Center for Higher Education and Technology in Effingham.


Lake Land College to offer free welding classes

Lake Land College will be offering free welding classes in various locations, with orientation beginning Aug. 8.


Lake Land College to offer free ESL classes

Lake Land College Adult Education will offer free English as a Second Language classes, beginning Aug. 22 for the entire semester.


Lake Land College to offer free GED classes

Lake Land College will be offering free GED classes in several locations, with orientation beginning Aug. 15.



Lake Land College leaders celebrate a gift to the Lake Land College Foundation from the estate of Dr. Lowell Massie. The gift will be used to award scholarships to students in allied health programs. Lake Land College accepts nominations for Distinguished Alumni Society

The Lake Land College Alumni Association is accepting nominations for the 2016 inductees of the Distinguished Alumni Society. This year’s inductees will join a select group of 78 members in the prestigious group.

Lake Land College’s Adult Education is offering free Basic Nursing Assistant (BNA) training, with orientation beginning Aug. 8.


Lake Land College accepting Student Ambassador applications

There is a great opportunity available for students attending Lake Land College for the 2016-2017 school year. Students can meet new friends, gain leadership skills, build a résumé and earn a scholarship by becoming a Lake Land College Student Ambassador.
