For Autumn Fain of Casey, the path to receiving her education has not been an easy one. Even though she was a straight-A student at Newton High School, she dropped out when she was 16, after discovering she was pregnant. Lake Land College history instructor, David Seiler recently completed a research assistantship with the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). As part of a nation-wide study sponsored by the HLC, Seiler and other researchers were chosen to conduct a study, focused on dual credit programs throughout the United States.
