Lake Land College offers a variety of community courses this December
The Lake Land College office of Community and Professional Programs will offer several community courses throughout the month of December. Find a new hobby, brush up on a skill and have some fun with Lake Land College!
The course details and information are as follows:
• Have you just gotten engaged and now wonder what’s next? Would you like some tips to make your wedding memorable instead of stressful? Join instructor Christal Finch for Bridal Boot Camp. Discuss budgets, engagement announcements, invitations and current trends. You will learn how to pin a boutonniere, do’s and don’ts of wedding etiquette, how to set a formal table, how to choose a baker, a caterer and a D.J. CE-ENRC187-30777 will meet Saturday, Dec. 7 from 8 a.m. until noon in Neal Hall, room 107. The cost of the class is $37.
• Experience the aromas the wise men brought to baby Jesus! Different kinds of oils are mentioned more than 500 times in the Bible. Find out what essential oils are, their benefits and how you can use them in your daily life. Join Nancy Selvidge for Healing Oils of the Bible. CE-HLTH146-30828 will meet Monday, Dec. 2 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Selvidge Chiropractic Center in Mattoon. The cost of the class is $30 and includes samples of Frankincense and Myrrh for you to take home.
