Lake Land College hosts Indonesian World Fest Performance

Lake Land College, in coordination with Arts Midwest World Fest and the Doudna Fine Arts Center, will host a free performance on Wednesday, April 24, at 11 a.m. in the Luther Student Center Theater.

Take a tour to Bali and experience the enchanting sounds of Cudamani. Hailing from the village of Pengosekan, Indonesia, Cudamani performs a highly creative musical and dance repertoire that is vibrant, technical, and free spirited. Evoking both contemporary vitality and dedication to Balinese tradition, the ensemble brings to life vivid tales of gods, heroes, and the cosmos in Balinese mythology. Enjoy the inspired complex tones of Cudamani and be instantly transported to the rich and diverse islands of Indonesia.

The public is welcome and encouraged to attend this unique event. The event is sponsored by the Lake Land College Student Activity Board and the Diversity Education Task Force.
