Lake Land College offers free computer classes in Marshall

Lake Land College is offering free computer classes at the Eastern Region Center at the Forsythe Center, 224 S. 6th St., Marshall. 

In cooperation with the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) Digital Divide Program, the classes are free for participants and are geared toward new computer and tablet device users. 

Classes include:

• Introduction to Microcomputing: Tuesdays and Thursdays, Feb. 5-28 from 8:00 – 9:30 a.m.

• Keyboarding: Tuesdays and Thursdays, Feb. 5-28, from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.

• Introduction to the Internet: Fridays, Feb. 1-22, from 9 – 11 a.m.

• Tablet Computing: Mondays, Feb. 4-25, from 6-8 p.m. or Wednesdays, Feb. 6-27 from 6-8 p.m.
