Lake Land College approves articulation agreement with U of I Springfield
The Lake Land College Board of Trustees recently approved a 2+2 Articulation Agreement with the University of Illinois – Springfield, which will lead to a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
“This agreement has been made possible due to the significant efforts on the part of Denise Walk, IT instructor and coordinator of the IT Web technology program, Kathy Black, business division chair, and Raymond Barnett, transfer coordinator for the University of Illinois – Springfield,” said Jim Hull, vice president for academic services.
Like articulation agreements with other senior institutions, this articulation agreement offers students who have earned an associate in applied science degree in Information Technology-Web Technology or Information Technology-Programming the opportunity to complete a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at the U of I – Springfield.
