Fundamentals of Yoga covers the basic postures (asanas), breath techniques (pranayama), meditation and philosophy, of the ancient science of yoga. Attention is paid to alignment which will help students develop strength, balance, flexibility and find the peace of mind yoga promises to deliver. This class is the perfect place for beginners to start their introduction to yoga. Bring a yoga mat.

Whirled Peas & Serenity

In this hour-long yoga practice we slow down and come in contact with the power of the breath, and a relaxing asana practice to prepare for a final seated meditation. Practice opening yourself to your inner voice, and let peaceful, healing vibration into your world (whirled) and thus peace and serenity. Come in from living a life that is chaotic, hectic and rushed to finding peace (peas) within. The healing starts with you. Bring a yoga mat.
