That's Not What I Learned in

Did you learn that floss is the magic elixir preventing everything from caries to bone loss? Or perhaps you are still providing 'routine care'; prophys, floride treatments, and radiographs. While education provides the foundation, it depreciates over time as new research, therapies, and treatments emerge. The course will empower you to move out of your comfort zone and feel confident adopting new, evidence-based strategies for everyday patient care. Cost is $39. Dental Hygienists will receive 3 CE's. Registration is required no later than February 19, 2015. To register, to to and click on the Dental link, or call Admissions and Records office at 217-234-5434. Drop date for a refund is five business days prior to the seminar. For more information, contact Vivian Bales at 217-234-5087 or email Instructor: Carol Jahn, RDH, MS Ms. Jahn has a BS in dental hygiene from the University of Iowa, and an MS in Continuing Education and Training from the University of St. Francis. She has been a dental hygienist for 32 years, with 14 years as a clinician and is the senior professional relations manager for Waterpik, Inc.
