Calligraphy

Create your own unique wedding and party invitations, add some pizzazz to your scrapbook or photo album. Learn the art of hand lettering. You will learn the basics of this art and will be able to create your own projects at home using basic pen techniques and brushwork. Calligraphy pen included.

Cardboard Weaving - Basic

Using a cardboard loom and other simple objects, you will learn basic weaving techniques. We will concentrate on using color as pattern and how to finish and display your artwork. This is a fun craft you can take with you wherever you go. Cardboard loom kit included. Bring scissors and a comb.

Cardboard Weaving Intermediate

Building on skills learned in basic weaving, new patterns will be introduced as well as textures and colors. Basket weave and twill variations give endless possibilities to create unique, one-of-a-kind art pieces. Bring your cardboard loom kit from Basic Weaving class.

Fused Glass Jewelry

Design and make three beautiful glass pendants using two techniques, tack fusing and full fusing. The second session you will see your fired pendants and attach the pendant to bails. Materials and necklace included. Class will be held at JJ's Studio, tools will be available for use.

Knitting: Just One More Row

Join us for this no stress-just lots of fun knitting class and soon you won't want to put down your knitting needles. Make a hat or scarf of your choosing or pick one of the styles provided by the instructor. Both beginner and intermediate welcome. Bring 1 skein #4 worsted weight yarn, size 8" and 10" straight needles or a 16" circular needle. Class will not meet July 4.

Stained Glass - Copper Foil

Create two sun-catchers to take home. You will learn how to cut glass, apply copper foil, and use solder and a soldering iron. Using these new skills, you will join the glass pieces together using the copper foil method.

Weaving with Paper - Basic

Using everyday paper in different colors, weave art pieces that can be framed. We will explore different patterns as well as finishing and framing.

Weaving with Specialty Papers

Vellum, metallic, rice and handmade papers you can use to create exquisite one of a kind works of art. Come explore the possibilities with me and leave with a beautiful artwork for yourself or someone else.
