Continuing Edventures

Through the leadership of Lake Land College’s Continuing Education Department, a small team of Lake Land College employees and other community volunteers formed the Continuing EdVentures’ initiative in July 2003. With a firm commitment and belief in LIFE (“ Learning Is For Ever”), the steering committee will endeavor to integrate existing and new programs to serve the life-long learning interests and needs of Lake Land College’s ‘mature adults’ spread throughout the nearly 4,000 square miles district. The Continuing EdVentures’ programs are being designed to serve the estimated 60,000 district residents age 50 and older.
