Management Program Options

Management Degree

The Management degree program is very flexible. After taking the “core” requirements for the degree, students can use career electives to design a specialized management curriculum in several diverse areas.

Examples of individualized programs include: retail store management, restaurant management, golf course management, parks/recreation management, craft store management, real estate management, and human resources management.

Management Certificate

The certificate in Management program prepares students for entry level positions in supervision and management. Employees can use this program to prepare for upward mobility and/or update management and supervisory skills.

Many students use this certificate as a “stepping stone” towards their two year Management degree. All courses satisfactorily completed in this certificate program will apply to the associate in applied science degree with a major in Management.

Entrepreneurship/Small Business Ownership Certificate

This program is designed to prepare students for careers in entrepreneurship and small business management.  The courses have been carefully chosen to provide students with the broad business background needed to succeed in owning and operating a small enterprise.  All of the courses associated with this certificate program will apply to the associate in applied science degree with a major in Management.
