Paraprofessional Education - Teacher Aide (AAS) (AAS.PRPRO) Associate Degree in Applied Science This program is designed to provide students with the knowledge base and practical skills necessary for assisting teachers in a public school setting. This degree is suited for individuals who desire a career working with children in an educational learning environment. In response to the No Child Left Behind Act, this degree in Paraprofessional Education meets the recommended curriculum outlined by the Illinois State Board of Education.
